2008 IRS Cost of Living Adjustments
The Internal Revenue Service has announced in Revenue Procedure 2007-36 the indexed amounts for 2008 high deductible health plans (HDHPs) and health savings accounts (HSAs). These new regulations are available on the official IRS website.
Effective 1/1/08, the EBPA FSA Benefits Card will be able to automatically substantiate many over-the-counter FSA eligible expenses. Provided that you use your card at a vendor that has implemented a new process call the Inventory Information Approval System (IIAS), requests for sales receipts will be reduced.
